British sportswear giant Sports Direct, the UK’s largest sporting goods retailer, has officially entered the Romanian market. The company has opened a physical store in Promenada Mall Craiova and launched a dedicated Romanian e-commerce platform.
The newly launched Craiova location offers a wide range of products, including sportswear and athletic apparel, sports and casual footwear, equipment for football, fitness, running, hiking, accessories such as backpacks, water bottles, training gear. Products come from leading global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Under Armour, Slazenger, Lonsdale, Everlast, and Karrimor.
Located within the same space is a dedicated area for USC, a British fashion retailer founded in 1989 and acquired by Frasers Group in 2011. USC focuses on casual and branded fashion, offering clothing and urban wear, footwear and lifestyle products, accessories including bags, sunglasses, hats. USC features well-known names such as Levi’s, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel, Converse, Guess, DKNY, Lacoste, Napapijri, and Replay.
