M Core, Romania’s largest retail park owner, has cemented its market leadership with more than €150 million in strategic investments and acquisitions across the country within just six months. It’s aggressive growth strategy includes landmark acquisitions such as Focșani Shopping Centre, Suceava Shopping City, and seven fully leased retail parks purchased from MAS.
Focșani Shopping Centre, acquired from KBC, is a 45,000 sqm retail asset boasting a 92% occupancy forecast for 2025. The centre, which hosts over 100 retail tenants, has consistently delivered strong performance for nearly two decades.
Suceava Shopping City brings 43,100 sqm of leasable area with an outstanding 99% occupancy rate. This retail hub serves northeastern Romania and surrounding regions with a robust tenant mix and strategic location that aligns with modern proximity retail trends.
M Core also absorbed seven fully leased retail parks from MAS. Spanning approximately 32,000 sqm of leasable area, these parks are located in Slobozia, Focșani, Râmnicu Sărat, Târgu Secuiesc, Sebeș, Făgăraș, and Gheorgheni. These acquisitions will be integrated under the M Parks brand.
