Electryphy, the first Romanian tennis apparel brand, officially launched on June 28 with a star-studded event. The brand targets global expansion and positions itself at the intersection of performance and self-expression.
Combining premium technical fabrics with ergonomic design, Electryphy’s garments are built for movement, durability, and style. The brand brings a fresh, personality-rich edge to sportswear through its distinctive color palette and design philosophy.
As official brand ambassador, Horia Tecău will premiere Electryphy on the global stage at Wimbledon Legends (July 6–9). His outfit has been specially crafted to comply with the tournament’s iconic all-white dress code, while still reflecting the unique Electryphy identity.
An ambitious retail strategy
Electryphy has already partnered with two Romanian sportswear retailers, and its official e-shop will soon be complemented by listings on two major online platforms. Expansion into niche e-commerce sites is also underway to ensure nationwide availability.
Internationally, the brand has opened initial sales channels in Bulgaria and UAE, with discussions ongoing for entry into the U.S., the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain. By 2026, Electryphy aims to be listed on top European tennis-specialty retailers such as TennisWarehouse-Europe.com and Tennis-Point.com.
Founded by entrepreneurs, powered by passion
The brand was created by Monica Nițescu and Cristi Dragnea, entrepreneurs in the beauty equipment and mobile tech sectors—and avid tennis enthusiasts. The launch was self-funded, and the team is now preparing a new investment round to scale across the region.
In 2025, we plan to produce between 8,000 and 10,000 Electryphy outfits – engineered to withstand intense rallies and designed to reflect each player’s individuality
