Froo, the convenience store format launched by Polish Żabka Group, has surpassed the milestone of 100 stores in Romania just 12 months after entering the local market, opening a new store every three days since early 2024.
Froo’s network now covers three major Romanian cities – Bucharest, Pitești, and Constanța – with stores located in both central areas and residential neighborhoods. Froo offers a fresh, elegant, and functional shopping experience, focusing on everyday consumer needs.
The stores feature a distinctive design characterized by light green tones and spacious interiors, complemented by the Froo Bistro offering. Customers enjoy high-quality coffee, hot dogs, paninis, pizzas, and fresh pastries. In its first year, it sold over 1 million hot dogs and more than 600,000 coffees.
Froo provides entrepreneurs the opportunity to manage their own stores through a collaborative business model backed by comprehensive network support. Independent retailers can also convert existing stores into the Froo format, benefiting from the expertise and infrastructure of an international brand.
The Froo network in Romania is supported by DRIM Daniel Distribuție, which ensures a reliable supply chain tailored to the local market. Over 80% of Froo’s product range comes from Romanian brands.
