Alpin Group caps off 2024 with an year-end turnover of 73.7 million lei, marking an 11% growth compared to the previous year. The performance is attributed to strong momentum in the corporate events segment and the company’s ongoing strategic investments, including a major move into the Romanian seaside market.
A significant contributor to this growth was the launch of the K2 Alpin Center, part of the Alpin Conference Center in Poiana Brasov, now the largest integrated corporate event facility in Romania. The venue spans 7,500 square meters and hosted international events with up to 800 participants from industries including IT, healthcare, and defense.
The group’s profitability also saw a notable boost: EBITDA reached 18 million lei in 2024, over 25% higher than in 2023. Alpin attributes this improvement to advanced cost optimization and the adoption of an internal decision-support platform focused on cost management.
Looking ahead, Alpin Group has ambitious targets for 2025. The company is forecasting a 10% revenue increase, driven by a broader focus on international events and strengthened partnerships with travel agencies. Packages are expected to benefit from growing flight access through Brașov International Airport.
Expansion at the Black Sea coast
The group has confirmed a major investment into the Rivaz Hotel, a five-star project currently under construction in Olimp resort. The hotel will feature 130 luxury units, a rooftop infinity pool, private beach access, a panoramic skybar, gourmet dining, a wellness center, and full concierge services.
The investment in Rivaz exceeds 20 million euros, and the broader capital expenditure plan for 2025 sits at 10 million euros, with further projects anticipated across Romania in both the hotel and real estate sectors.
