Telerenta invests EUR 500,000 and expands it’s RentBox network of vending machines

RentBox is a service that allows immediate rental and instant pickup of electronic devices

Romanian technology startup, Telerenta, invests 500,000 euro and expands it’s RentBox network of vending machines, developed in partnership with BobNet Group.

RentBox service was launched at the beginning of July, with 4 vending machine units and will be completed with 16 more machines by the end of the year.

The units will be located in the shopping centers of the big cities in Romania, the company’s objective being the development of a national network of RentBox automated vending machines of over 100 units, in 2024.

Customers, who want to rent electronic devices and immediately take them home, scan a QR code displayed on the RentBox vending machine and select the product and the rental period, which varies between 3 and 24 months. Rental costs start at 29.99 lei/month, for a flexible 24-month contract.
