Spanish retailer Lefties to open its first store in Romania this year

Fashion retailer Lefties, part of the Spanish group Inditex, which also owns Zara, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, will open its first store in Romania in Promenada Mall Craiova.

Lefties, which opened its first store in 1999, currently operates 135 stores in 14 countries: Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Tunisia, UAE, Egypt, Israel, Bahrain, Tunisia and Oman.

The retailer sells clothing, footwear and accessories for women, men, children and babies. Its product range is completed with Homewear, Sportswear & Underwear collections.

The business model of the Spanish retailer is based on affordable prices, being a direct competitor of Primark. Initially, Lefties stores sold Zara’s old collections, and since September 2020 it also has an online store.
