Finish fast food chain Hesburger opens first outlet in Romania

Finnish fast-food chain Hesburger has opened the first of ten planned restaurants in Romania, in Ramnicu Valcea, after a 300,000 euros investment.

Hesburger operates in nine countries, and has 274 outlets in Finland, 61 in Lithuania, 51 in Estonia and Latvia, seven in Ukraine, two in Germany, and one restaurant in Poland and Romania.

The fast food chain employs around 6,000 people in Finland, and 2,700 in the other eight countries. Hesburger revenues in 2023 sit at 286 million euros in Finland and 172 million euros in the other eight countries.
