Card on delivery, new payment method used on Cargus deliveries

Cargus is launching a payment system which turns 2500 couriers Zebra computers into a mobile point of sale (POS).

The transaction is performed by simply approaching the courier’s PDA. In the case of amounts exceeding 100 lei, you have to enter the card PIN.

The confirmation of the transaction will be printed by the courier or sent to the e-mail address of the recipient.

Implementation of card on delivery solution comes in the context in which almost 65% of those who shop online want to pay cash on delivery (ramburs), according to an eCommerce Europe survey.
